Heard that:

· The drawings for the new sign project have been approved and given to the contractor.

· That $25,588.74 is still outstanding for 2007 in pledge income; roughly 16% of the amount of 2007 pledges. Only essential expenses have  been paid due to the generosity of others.  No money has been spent on non-essential expenses such as snow shoveling, maintenance of the pipe organ, training and education of staff, supply clergy, and etc.

· The auditor has gone back to 2000 tracing the Building Fund. It is expected that in February it should be possible to generate a report on the Building Fund for the parish to review.

· Youth Group –a retreat is planned for the youth on January 20-21, 2008 at Grand Bear Resort.

· The parish hall door is sprung so it no longer closes properly. The frame has pulled out.  Please be sure it closes behind you.

· From the Altar Guild it was reported that the un-decorating of the church following Christmas was done in one and one-half hours – record time.  The pizza was great.  We also heard of the items acquired from Church of the Mediator.

· Sue Drake and Lisa Luckritz discussed solutions to the attendance problem in the 9-12 education group.  Fr. Luckritz’s position is that if we are enable to solve the problem, we will need to suspend education for the 9-12 age group.

· The 6-8 age group, at the request of the Diocese, is designing a muslin square for the installation of the bishop on February 2, 2008 to be used as part of his altar frontal.

· A video will be shown to the children during the Annual Meeting so teachers may attend the meeting.  Older children will be asked to watch over the younger children during the video.

· The Church School will present a re-enactment of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday again.

· Sue Drake and Lisa Luckritz will retire as co-directors of Christian Education at the end of this school year.  While continuing to serve as catechists in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, they feel it is time for a new face to head to Christian Education program.

· the end of March (13 weeks).

· The Outreach Christmas gifts project went well.

· The children of the Church School have achieved an Ark for the Heifer Project. Lisa Luckritz will write the press release.

· The Stewardship Campaign for 2008 reports that we are up to $133,838.00, or $11,000 over 2008 budget and there are several pledges still expected. Fr. Luckritz stressed how important it is to make contact with every parish member whether or not they pledge; parish leaders would then understand the role of individual parishioners.

· Plans for Epiphany, Lent and Easter include Stations of the Cross followed by Evening Prayer.  Fr. Luckritz is in charge of the Ecumenical Cross Walk this year.
