From the Chicago Area: From the Chicago Area take Interstate 55 to Lemont Road-SOUTH).
Take Lemont until it merges with State Street. Follow State Street until it intersects with Illinois 171 - Archer Avenue. Turn right. Continue on IL 171 into downtown Lockport. At the main intersection of IL 171 and IL Route 7, turn left onto Route 7 (also known as 9th Street). Go two blocks east to Washington Street. Turn right and follow Washington Street south 2 blocks. The church is located on the corner of Washington and 11th Streets. There is a parking lot immediately north of the church.
From Plainfield or locations west of IL Route 53: From Plainfield Route 30 to Renwick Road (also known as 159th Street).
Take Renwick east past the intersection with IL Route 53 and over the high bridge into downtown Lockport. Continue east two blocks after the intersection of IL Route 171 (Archer Avenue) to Washington Street. Follow the same directions as above in italics.
From Romeoville of locations north and west of the I & M Canal:
Take IL Route 53 south to the intersection with Renwick Road (alson know as Route 7 or 159th Street). Follow the same directions as above in italics.
From Joliet or locations south:
From the east side of Joliet take Collins Street (it will become IL 171). Continue north into downtown Lockport. Turn right at 11th Street and go two blocks east to the corner of 11th and Washington Streets.
If you are west of the I & M Canal in Joliet, take either IL Route 53, Larkin, or any other main street north to Renwick. Turn right on follow the remaining directions as above in italics.
From Homer Glen, Orland Park, or east:
Take 159th Street (it will become IL Route 7) west into Lockport. Just west two blocks of the intersection of Madison and 159th Street, turn left on Washington. Go south two blocks to the corner of Washington and 11th.
From Interstate 80 for either direction:
Take the Briggs Street exit and follow it north until it ends at Division Street in Lockport. Turn left at Division Street and go west to Washington Street. Make a right turn on Washington and follow Washington to 11th Street. The church is located on the corner of Washington and 11th Streets. |
